SmartBiller (SB) has been designed to run on multiple platforms,
with a user licence enabling the named user to run their session on
multiple devices. Integration with other Business applications
enables the total solution from initial time recording to final
client billing with user KPI's, management and customer
reporting.
The SB App is provided via a website that runs on your
device, The SB App is a Cloud based solution sold via Software
as a Service (SaaS) model.
With SaaS, a provider (SmartBiller Limited) licenses an
application to customers (Your Organisation) as a service on
demand, through a subscription, in a "pay-as-you-go" model. This
approach to application delivery is part of the Cloud computing
model where all of the technology is accessed over the Internet as
a service.

Versatility
Using the SmartBiller App you can start a timer in the office
from your windows desktop PC and head out to a meeting where you
can finish that timer on your Smart Phone (iPhone or Android),
heading back to your home office you can then start up a new timer
on your Mac, pause it and then back in your office the following
day finish the timer you had left paused on your Mac!
SmartBiller Application
When SmartBiller is used either as an integrated or as a
standalone solution recorded time entries from devices using the
SmartBiller App user interface (Smartphone and Desktop) time
entries can be synchronised to the SmartBiller Administration (SBA)
module thus allowing time entries to be centrally grouped by
customer, employee / contractor & Job. The entries can be
categorised by pre definable fields. The labels for the Category
fields can be set within the SBA module and pushed out to
synchronising devices along with other updated information such as
new customers, projects etc. SBA module is used to centrally report
information; even paused or running timer information can be
monitored giving project managers up to date real-time monitoring
of job / project progress and budget tracking. By filtering
different fields relevant groups of data can be viewed, printed as
a report (PDF) or exported to Word or Excel. SBA has a number of
built in reports both for Employee / Contractor reporting and for
Customer reporting. SBA module maintains an audit trail for
modified data and uses a role based security model for providing
access to different features. At the lowest level of security
access users can view their "own" historical time entry
information. At the highest level of security time entries that
have been approved by managers and locked from further editing can
be unlocked and modified. Within the SBA module there are also
tools for providing bulk updating of entries such as updating a
customer rate or assigning a group of entries to a different
project or category. Lastly one of the most powerful features of
the SBA module is its built in Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
reports providing management and individual users relevant up to
the minute statistics at a glance.
Integration
SmartBiller can be integrated with almost any business
application using its Application Programming Interface
(API).
SmartBiller can be used in isolation but when integrated
provides a complete business solution. We have already integrated
SmartBiller with a task management system SmartTasks and an
accounting application MoneyWorks.
